I have taken pictures for the better part of my life and when you see that I graduated college in 1998, you can guess it has been a good while. Starting back in junior high, when I worked on my first yearbook. I was taking pictures and almost pulled my first all-nighter putting it together using pencil, paper and typewriters. From there I was hooked.
Working with computers, changing images before anyone can even see them and putting them on the internet is amazing. I can remember being the only kid in grade school who had a camera to take along on field trips, and now kids have them in their pocket as part to their cell phones.
Taking pictures is a passion I follow as best I can. Being able to look at pictures and bring back memories from different events is fantastic. I try and do that for every event I photograph. I look more for the special moments that will mean a lot in years to come, than the posed and all smiling looking the same direction. Being YOU is the important part of any photo shoot and knowing your personality will help me to know the type of photos you will want later.
